Giguère & Morin Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “CIE”) is committed to maintaining your trust and following the following privacy policy to protect the confidentiality, security and accuracy of the personal information it collects, holds, uses or communicates in accordance with applicable legislation. We have established this policy to explain our practices regarding the personal information we collect when you become an employee, or when you purchase a product and/or service.Scope of the policy

The CIE only collects, holds, uses or communicates personal information with your consent and for the purposes identified below, unless otherwise required or authorized by law. For any other use of your personal information, your consent will be requested.
The personal information that we collect is only that which is necessary for the provision of our activities and our services as well as for the purposes identified in this policy, in particular:
- Membership as an employee: name of employee and spouse, postal address, telephone numbers, email addresses, date of birth, profession, name of children, date of birth of children, bank details, # SIN, # RAMQ.
- The employee's membership in group insurance, RRSP, CNESST, EI
- The purchase of certain products and services in the factory: name, postal address and email address.
- Communications between the CIE and an employee: name, email address, telephone number.
Security measures
All personal information collected is saved in secure locations as well as on controlled servers located in Quebec.However, our service providers may store personal information on servers located outside of Canada and be subject to the law in force in that country. We take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is adequately protected in accordance with this policy.
It is therefore impossible for anyone to intercept them, and they remain strictly confidential.
We limit access to personal information to authorized members of our staff whose functions make such access necessary. Authorized personnel are adequately trained to ensure the protection of personal information and respect for privacy.
We ensure the destruction or anonymization of personal information when it is no longer necessary and the purposes for which it is collected have been accomplished the personal information no longer allows you to be identified., directly or indirectly
Third parties who may have access to your personal information
In addition to CIE staff members whose functions make it necessary to have access to the personal information collected, the following people may have access to your personal information:
- Certain service providers (for example, insurance brokers) may have access to your personal information from time to time to provide the required service, but they are strictly prohibited from using this information for other purposes. The CIE ensures that it signs a service agreement with each of these suppliers to ensure the protection of the personal information transmitted to them.
- Employees responsible for payroll, billing and collections
- The CIE may be obliged to communicate your personal information under applicable laws, for example, to a legal advisor or to a government agency with authority to obtain such personal information.
We do not sell or trade our membership or customer list to any company.

The information you provide on these sites is subject to the external site's privacy policy, if one exists.We are not responsible for the privacy policies adopted by third parties or any other partners since everyone must comply with the legislation in force in their country of residence. Access to your personal information
We allow any person affected by personal information collected and held by us to rectify any personal information concerning them that is inaccurate or incomplete. Complaint
To maintain and improve the quality of its services, the CIE offers any person the opportunity to express their dissatisfaction with the protection of personal information that they collect, hold, use or communicate. Therefore, the person who wishes to make a complaint must communicate in writing with the responsible person identified below. The complaint must indicate the following elements:- First and last name.
- Telephone number.
- Postal address or email address.
- Reason for complaint.
